Airport Safety Gets a Lift as LSSTF Hands Over Operational Vehicle to Lagos Police ® Newzspy.

In a strategic move to enhance security operations and ensure rapid response within airport corridors, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated an operational patrol vehicle to the Nigeria Police, Lagos State Airport Command.

The donation underscores LSSTF’s sustained commitment to strengthening the logistics capacity and operational effectiveness of law enforcement agencies across Lagos State. By boosting mobility and surveillance capabilities, the initiative is aimed at reinforcing safety within critical aviation environments and protecting airport users, infrastructure, and operations.

The vehicle was formally handed over by the Administrative Director of LSSTF, Mr. Degbola Lewis, to senior officers of the Lagos Airport Command, including SP Oladipupo Taiwo and CSP Daramola Kazeem.

Expressing appreciation, officials of the Airport Command described the intervention as timely and impactful, noting that the vehicle will significantly enhance patrol coverage, improve response time, and support proactive security measures across airport facilities.

They added that the gesture reinforces collaboration between government security stakeholders and critical institutions, while strengthening public confidence in airport safety across Lagos State.
